Charlie saw an opportunity in Essex Coffee Co.’s old website, built a completely new version and presented the working concept to the business.
The new build needed to reflect the character of the physical business and its printed materials, while making everyday information easy to find on a phone.
This was a website built from the ground up. The work carried the business’s established identity into a new digital experience and continued after adoption through practical maintenance.
The concept used the existing green-and-cream palette and supplied identity, real menu and visit information, authentic imagery and clear access to directions. It also presented the Coffee Club and the wider training, retail and business offer.
Charlie built the working proposal before pitching it. The concept translated the business’s existing green-and-cream palette and printed identity into a new responsive website, with the menu and directions close at hand for mobile visitors.
Subsequent work included implementing supplied logo artwork, menu updates, direct access to the supplied allergy-matrix PDF and new branded photography. Mobile and desktop checks accompanied those changes.
