1. Overview
This notice covers Saxon Bridge’s website, project enquiries, client correspondence and research and outreach to prospective business customers. It also explains optional website and concept-preview measurement.
2. Data controller
Saxon Bridge controls the business research, contact and enquiry records described here. For privacy questions, access requests or objections to marketing, email charlie@saxonbridge.io.
3. Information and sources
We receive contact and project information you submit, including your name, organisation, email address, telephone number, website, service interest, budget range, project context and preferred timeframe. For business research, we also record publicly available company details, business contact routes, a contact’s name and role where verified, website observations, source URLs, observation dates and evidence supporting potential service opportunities. Sources include company websites, Companies House, public business directories and public professional or social pages. A public listing does not itself give us permission to contact an individual.
4. Research and business correspondence
Our SalesOS system stores research evidence, qualification assessments, draft and sent messages, replies, follow-up history, opt-outs and delivery or reconciliation records. It uses software and AI assistance to organise research and identify potentially relevant business opportunities. Approved campaigns use fixed email templates, verified contacts and eligibility checks. Human replies, objections and uncertain delivery outcomes stop or defer automated follow-ups. Charlie reviews interested enquiries and commercial decisions; concepts require individual review before publication. These business-priority assessments do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.
5. Purposes and lawful basis
We use enquiry and correspondence records to respond to requests, assess potential projects and manage business relationships. Our recorded basis for relevant corporate business-to-business prospecting is legitimate interests in identifying and offering appropriate business services. That basis does not remove your right to object or the separate rules applying to sole traders, some partnerships and individual subscribers. Records with unknown or unsupported contact eligibility are excluded from automated campaigns. Optional analytics require your choice to allow them. Information needed to perform an agreed engagement or meet a legal obligation is handled for those purposes where applicable.
6. Your right to stop marketing
You can object to direct marketing at any time, without giving a reason, by replying to an outreach email or contacting charlie@saxonbridge.io. We retain an appropriate suppression record to avoid contacting you again; deleting a marketing record must not accidentally remove that protection. You do not have to accept optional analytics to use this website or make an enquiry.
7. Optional analytics and previews
Analytics are off until you allow them through Privacy choices. General page-view records contain the page path, time and referring website hostname, without a visitor identifier, IP address or user-agent string in the application’s analytics records. On a concept preview, optional measurement uses a random browser-session code to distinguish first and repeat visits and enquiry clicks. These events are imperfect signals, are not attributed to a named reader and are not used across websites. Hosting and communications providers also process technical information needed to operate their services. A preview absent from navigation is not password-protected merely because its URL is unlisted.
8. Systems, recipients and access
We use Google Workspace for email, Supabase for SalesOS records, Cloudflare for the SalesOS application, and OpenAI’s connected ChatGPT and Sites services for assisted work and website hosting. Website enquiries and first-party analytics are stored in the site database. These providers process information needed to deliver their services. Access to business records is restricted through authenticated owner and server-side controls; the website’s private owner inbox also requires an owner check. Public concept pages exclude internal notes and unrelated client records. These services can involve international processing. Contact charlie@saxonbridge.io for information about the providers and transfer arrangements relevant to your records; this notice does not assert a particular country or safeguard that has not been verified.
9. Retention
Retention depends on whether a record is needed for an enquiry, an ongoing or potential engagement, correspondence history, an objection or suppression, security and delivery reconciliation, or a legal or accounting requirement. The current systems preserve historical correspondence and audit records, and do not apply a universal automatic deletion period. A campaign’s expiry or a research refresh date does not delete personal data. You can ask us to review continued retention or request erasure; an objection record or information needed for a continuing legal obligation may still need to be retained.
10. Your other rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law gives you rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Contact charlie@saxonbridge.io to exercise a right or ask which public source supplied your business contact information. You can withdraw optional analytics consent through Privacy choices; this does not affect processing before withdrawal.
11. Complaints
You can raise a privacy concern with charlie@saxonbridge.io. You also have the right to complain directly to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Visit the ICO complaints service.

We update this notice when the processing described here changes. The date above identifies this revision.
